Dear Voters,

Having been raised in the community, I believe there are some wonderful things that have taken place in this district over the years; however there are areas that need to be improved upon. I have a strong background working with local businesses and residents of the district as a Field Deputy for past elected officials and as the Development Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the San Fernando Valley. I pledge to be YOUR COUNCILPERSON not the servant of any outside special interest.

As the district continues to grow, I want to make sure the interests of the citizens of the 7th District and the city, will come above the special interests of others. This means making sure that our district receives its fair share of City resources; and that the community’s voice and vision is the driving force behind the district’s growth.

I look forward to meeting and working with the community to develop ideas and strategies that address the major issues affecting the “Quality of Life” in Council District 7.

My top priorities deal with the “Quality of Life”:

Public Safety:

Keeping our neighborhoods and communities safe is a priority.
We must continue to create, maintain and strengthen our high impact safety partnerships with LAPD and LAFD

Land Use & Development:

With an emphasis on protection of equestrian needs and open space from over development

Sustainable & Realistic Balanced Budget:

We must live within our means

Employment:

Quality jobs (building stronger public & private partnerships)
